We’ve been over this before. I’m a rule follower. It’s served me well so far, so confirmation bias continues me on the rule following journey. Since Landon and Scarlett are two, I booked them at the upcoming dentist appointment for Isabelle and Carter. I’m a big fan of compressing challenging experiences so that the time spent on the challenge is a little bit less and definitely less time is spent leading up to said experience(s).
Carter and Izzy love the dentist because they give them toys and new toothbrushes. Landon thought the dentist was suspect, but okay. Scarlett, on the other hand was not having it. No, she replied as they asked if they could look in her mouth. She laid with me on the chair for a second but once she discovered it wasn’t a cool place to lounge with mom, she quickly abandoned that post.
We’ll try again in another six months and see what happens.
